today we went on a tour of my "new school" for septemeber with my step mom. well Im scared shitless. 1st of all SO MANY DARN PEOPLE. 2nd they seem real snotty or something I felt like they looked at me like i was less or something the only nice person was someone that seems like a outcast major. and the rest are all black ppl i dont want to be judging or anything this is just what I saw there and they were like staring me down and some smelt like drugs and stuff!! its the only school close to us so i have no choice and Im really scared to go next year. is any of your schools like this? how do u guys do it seriously its like u have to be really cool to be noticed and i know absolutly no one!

I go to a girls grammar school ( lol) so I suppose there are the smae problems just toned down a bit. There are drugs (behind the dumpsters, how origional) there is the thing of people being too cool... but I'd rather be with my group of 'normal' friends than the cool people. Look- you're a really nice person so I'm sure every one will like you. You'll get used to the people, don't worry. If you're scared aout this, go down town a lot and get used to the crowds. And teachers will be keeping an eye on you in your first few months to make sure you're getting on ok. Keep safe x x x

It must be so scary for you since you have been in HomeSchool and Locked up in a house for so long. All these things are very new to you and its going to be a shock but you will get used to it. Eventually you will make friends at that school, Ignore all the people that don't "appeal" to you. You have teachers there to watch you like Sparkle said and if you ever have a problem you can talk to them. I'm sure they already know your situtation. It might help to have your Foster parents drive you to and from school for awhile instead of taking any other form of public transportation if you were going too. Atleast try it out for a month or more and see how it goes. You have all summer to meet new people. Do you have any foster brothers and sisters that will be going to the same school? If you have a bad day at school you can always come back here and complain. Just remeber you have all summer to build up to it, you might meet someone thise summer who goes to the school, you never know. Keep your chin up girl.

Well, if you've just moved there, don't go up to them and speak, wait till you see them, like if you walk in your drive and they're doing some thing on the front lawn. Just say 'Hi, you ok?' and see what they say. If they start up a conversation, just answer their questions, reply to their statements. If they say yeah I'm fine, or some thing like that just say some thing like 'how long have you lived here' or... 'What school do you go to?' and carry on from there.
