Anyone else here home schooled? If so do you enjoy it more than public school? Do you feel that you are getting a better education? I think I am getting a much better education than I would in our locale schools lol.

Home schooling - I was in fact home schooled but I am done now, Honestly I wish I went to public school. In grade 10 I was put into Distance Education which is homeschooling but I teach myself, no one helped me really other then the odd question over the phone to my marker (the person who marks my work). I did this until I graduated. The Pro was finishing school a year and a half earlier then everyone else, getting better grades then I would in public school; I was pretty much failing school and then I got straight A's because I didn't have all the distractions of friends and what not but when I started this I lost contact with everyone I used to be friends with. So yes, Your social life really takes the brunt of it and I think that if I had gone to public school and was able to be around more people I would of been happier because outside of school it is very hard to make friends, I only have one at the moment

Well I have never really had a socale life besides one home schooled friend I have from when my martial arts school was still opened. So I guess you could say I am happy cause I dont really know what i am missing I really do wish I had a girl friend or just more friends at times but hey I am happy being home schooled. Home schooling seems to be catching on more these past few years aswell from what I hear on the news.

I think homeschooling is cool but I also believe that having some what of a social life is very important, it affects you greatly and it lowers your self-esteem and social skills

I would die with out a social life. I dont know how people can stay home and sit on the computer or play games all day.
