is it a bad idea to use conditioner as lubricant? it was all that was available at the time. i know it sounds kinda effed up, but it's all that we had.

The only reason I can think that it would be a bad idea is because it's kind of used for cleaning, although I don't know how similar it is to soap or shampoo... and cleaning too much down there can actually be bad and even cause infections or at least make you more vulnerable to them.

It may irritate the inside of your vagina.. I'm not 100% sure though, but I know that it isn't the best idea.

Conditioner, soap, shampoo etc. are all bad for use as lubricant, because they damage the skin and make it all leathery and painful and tender. So, no. Stick to normal lube stuff.

That's probably going to be very irritating for any orifice on the body. Plus, I'm not sure what the effects of conditioner would be on latex, if you were using a condom -- some things can cause condoms to break more easily. Better to just invest in some lube. You can get some KY lube at any pharmacy -- it's not used only for sex, so nobody's going to look at you funny and there's no age limit when you can buy it or anything.
