How about, there is no bad. Only absence of good. Does that make sense? When there is no good, there is nothing and we call it 'bad' but really it's an absence of good. (What does christianity have to do with it?) That does make sense and a nice way of looking at it, I also agree with Grape Juices statement

Well, if you a christian view of the whole mess, it will go like this:
God does not just "allow" this bad things to happen to us or our society... We dont (most of the time) trust or beleive in him... I mean, why save a dog if you know it will attack you or your family? The things that happen are known as life, and I go through it all and come out smiling because the more good I make will be the less bad I experience. Other people like to call that karma, but the fact is that its actually not a perfect balance...

see i know that if we didnt have bad stuff happen in our lives then it wouldnt be right but then again most of the stuff that has happen to me is bad...

alots of things 1. My mother being bi-polar, a drunk, and a cutter 2. watchin her cut herself in front of me 3. my dad.... 4. fighting with my mom everyday about her drinkin problem and so on
