I know for a fact I have it - its faded though as I've grown up, but I was never diagnosed at school. They found it easier to label me as a problem child.
But now I know there is something 'wrong' I'm interested in finding out more in none jargon filled papers, is this the right board to ask this? I'm not really sure.
Also is there anyone else around who has the same?

Despite the poor spelling and grammar of the previous post (people, check your spelling!), yes, there is always Wikipedia.
Yes, this is the right board.
I don't know if I have it or not, since no one's diagnosed me. I don't think I have it, though, because I read 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time' and I couldn't say I was the same as the kid with Aspergers'.
I wouldn't say there's anything 'wrong' with you as such - you're just different from the average, and that's fine. We all are in some way.
When did you find out? How does / did it affect you?

I found out six months ago. To be Honest I was like: Okay... should I freak about it or not? At least now that I know whats wrong with me and college knows they can pass information on and have a support network in place when I leave to go into higher education. The only emotion I really felt was anger at having to have gone through school without it being picked up once.

Seriously I didn't capitalize or use a period, whoopty whooo and u = you. *beep* the only person who gives a shit is one with out a life and one without a life equals you.

Okay, I did a lot of research, and still can't discover what Aspergers Syndrome is. Could someone please inform me?
Also, Myheartmoved, please watch what you say to other people on the forum, were here to help people, not get rid of them.

Wow. Did I touch a nerve? The 'check spelling' button is right there, you know. Plus, you can choose to ignore me.
It's just that, I worry. When people, troubled people, come here for advice, they want advice, not omg lol theres so much haxx in dis world dat evey1 is a ckikn!. Okay, that's a major exaggeration, but you get the point, right?
Just using your words properly makes so much difference. It shows you're real, and you really care enough. And then they are more inclined to take your advice, because they can take you seriously.
And while we're at it, having a public outburst like that will never get you taken seriously. Just... try harder next time. No one else has had an outburst quite as violent as you.
Asperger's Syndrome is, as far as I know, a mild form of autism. It basically means you're a bit different in terms of your mind. Autistic people have ideas in their head, that they have to have things done a certain way. For example, counting the number of buttons on everyone's collar, or something to that effect. It also means perceiving things differently. Autistic people find it more difficult (in general) to concentrate, and to empathise with other people. So it's harder for them to tell what someone's thinking. Whereas your average person can tell a short exhale means annoyance, given the situation, Autistic people need to actually think about it. Is that right?
And hell no, you shouldn't freak out about it. It's life. And since no one picked up on it during your younger years, maybe it's far more mild than most cases. In any case, you shouldn't have any more difficulty securing an education, or a career, because you should still be able to prove you're of sound mind. And that's all that counts, really.

What about people who are dyslexic or always had troubles with spelling and grammar? They see you making fun of people who don't spell perfect or up to your standard's, when I only spelled 'you' as 'u' and didn't capitalize or use a period. That would make them not even want to post in fear of being sought by someone like you to point out something they already know they have a problem with.

It's not like I went on and on and on about it. Don't do this publicly either. Since when did I wield enough power to make others 'afraid' of me? I think you're having a bad day and you're taking it out on me. Leave me alone, or do this via PM. No one wants to see you argue with me.

You pointed it out and I know people who have troubles with putting together proper sentences that have stopped posting because you've said something about their spelling. You're just a inconsiderate a-hole I hope you get banned from these forums for ever and Im not having a bad day I just dislike people like you that put down others for problems they have.

Ok, Will, and myheartmoved..
Will, she is write, what if someone on this forum is dyslexic, I know I am. Also a lot of people on here talk on instant messenger things, like MSN, AIM, Yahoo, or ICQ. Which makes them used to typing the way Myheartmoved is typing. I'm on MSN more then I'm on here, and I can type both ways, but it gets hard sometimes.
So really Myheartmoved has done nothing wrong. She's just typing the way that feels more confortable for her.
P.S Myheartmoved, I'm sorry for blaming you, I didn't realize some stuff that I had talked to the admin about.

Another thing about Aspergers Syndrome is you generally get obsessed over one tiny thing. and you can give any requested information about it. With me its Phantom of the Opera. I also find that I have to have pencils and pens in certain areas depending upon what they are. And on a computer much of my work is neatly filed away in files. Yet in things like files, folders in real life everything is a disorganised chaos

I know exactly what you mean... or like having to organise your computer files in a set order. I do that. So, what's the deal the the guy's face in Phantom of the Opera? I never actually saw/read/heard much about it. Can you tell me the gist? I'm curious. ________________________________________ Alright people. Let's review what I said before. Let's compare that to what I could have said: Now of course, I didn't say that because it's way out of line, and frankly, I don't really care that much. It's more a pet peeve. Now, what kind of reaction did I get? To recap, I get sworn at and insulted. Isn't this a little out of line? I mean, I've kept my head this whole time, and I get this thrown at me. Come on. Do I deserve that? Now. ...let's not go here. Alright, no disrespect intended. But there is always the 'check spelling' button, you know. It makes it so much friendlier and easier to read. Well, I use MSN all the time, every day. And I type like this. There really isn't an excuse here. Now. Right. Well, I didn't know that. I don't know anyone who's stopped posting because of me. If they had an issue, they would have IM'd me or said something. If you have an issue, why don't you IM me? Why are you making this a public thing? To recap: You, myheartmoved, have taken what I said, and blown it way out of proportion. You've gone from me pointing something out, to me insulting people, to me causing people to leave. I think you should step back and reconsider the things you're saying, because they're more hurtful than anything about spelling could possibly be.

Movie and Musical are both the same, one half of his face is distorted. In the Movie it generally looks like really bad burns that have extended back into the hair line. In the Musical its a bit harder to describe, but again it affects all of one side of his face, once more going back into the hair. In Lerouxs Original book he's said to be built of death from head to foot, and to be extremely skeletal with a deaths head. I hope this has helped
