I think it depends on how long and in what place and what age.

I think it depends on how long and in what place and what age. I think its okay if they are 14+ and know the rules with ovens, strangers at the door etc.

k ages 12 13 an 10 and home alone about 90% of their life with a mom whos a drug dealer (u would nebver be able to tell if you were just look ing at her) and the kids now are in to drugs and smoking too but she doesnt care as long as theyr out of her way.
(the dad dont live with them he cant handle the kids and the moms behavior so he left years ago)

Aha, so there is a bigger problem lurking in your question.
If she doesn't care what happens to them, and just wants them out of her way. She should have given them up to another family - that way, they would have had a better chance. Nvm about the past.
I'm sorry to hear that, it is a very unfortunatley event. Those kids being thrown into that kind of situation is going to affect their lives greatly, but you know what - what they make from it is not yet determined.
The future unmarked, and no matter what kind of circumstance one gets thrown into - he/she can change it, because that is what being ALIVE is all about.
A lot of famous and successful people came from nothing or worse then nothing.

I really can't say Family Guy. Not being in that environment will definatley help though. Environment usually has a big effect on an individual. Ex: Someone living in fear, can never do anything without being afraid.
In the end, it still comes down to the individual. It is still his/her choice. You can't force someone to live a better life, they have to want to - and take action.
Try social services. Check your local government services.
Good luck.

That is defiantly wrong!!
everyone has family issues but letting your kids do illegal stuff just because they are out of your way is defiantly not a good parent!

That is wrong because my mom was sent to jail for that.... leaving my little sister home alone so you need to call the police and children and families
