Listen to him talking to his friends. Theres many different names for meth some are: Chalk, crank, croak, crypto, crystal, fire, glass, meth, speed, white cross, tweek Meth looks like.. Meth is a crystal-like powdered substance that sometimes comes in large rock-like chunks. When the powder flakes off the rock, the shards look like glass, which is another nickname for meth. Meth is usually white or slightly yellow, depending on the purity It can be taken orally, injected, snorted, or smoked. Look for needle marks on his arms and if he's sniiffing lots like he has a running nose. If he's just started usuing it here are some immediate side-effects: Violent behavior. Other possible immediate effects include increased wakefulness and insomnia, decreased appetite, irritability/aggression, anxiety, nervousness, convulsions and heart attack. Long term effects: Meth is addictive, and users can develop a tolerance quickly, needing larger amounts to get high. In some cases, users forego food and sleep and take more meth every few hours for days, 'binging' until they run out of the drug or become too disorganized to continue. Chronic use can cause paranoia, hallucinations, repetitive behavior (such as compulsively cleaning, grooming or disassembling and assembling objects), and delusions of parasites or insects crawling under the skin. Users can obsessively scratch their skin to get rid of these imagined insects. Long-term use, high dosages, or both can bring on full-blown toxic psychosis (often exhibited as violent, aggressive behavior). This violent, aggressive behavior is usually coupled with extreme paranoia. Meth can also cause strokes and death. Some things to look out for: - Drug paraphernalia such as short straws, tubes, razor blades, mirrors, syringes or smoking devices
- Items containing white, beige, pink or brown powder or crystalline substances
- Someone going for long periods without sleep
- Lack of personal hygiene, including rotting teeth, skin rash or sores, or a strong chemical body odor
- Excessive and undirected energy
- Changes in mood and loss of interest in hobbies, friends or activities
- Hallucination and paranoia
- Uncontrolled emotional outbursts, possibly accompanied by violence or aggression
- Poor memory
- Decreased coordination
- Difficulty concentrating Drowsiness
- Slurred speech
- Lack of coordination
- Confusion
- Slowed breathing and decreased blood pressure
- Dizziness
- Depression

Please inform your parents if you suspect any of those warning signs. Meth is a very powerful drug and if you don't act fast he will have throwen his whole life away.

Yeah I agree. Meth can get you addicted the first time you take it. My friend told me that when she was on meth she was really jumpy. She kept cleaning her room and couldn't eat. She tried to, but couldn't. (that's why many meth addicts are skinny) Um, she got really paranoid and kept scratching herself...
I'm thinking that those are the more common symptoms. Good luck with your brother and I hope to god he's not taking it!
