Hey... *hugs* It's OK. You won't die. You can't die! You may ( hopefully...I don't want you to die!) be exaggerating a bit...chances are that you won't die from being locked in a hot room, but I would like to ask you...do you have a fan in your room? Because that would always help. If not, once you get out of there, you should probably prepare for the next time you get locked in there. For starters, go to a store and buy a fan that you can put in your room if it gets too hot. Also, if at all possible, try seeing about getting a phone in your room so that if there ever is an emergency like that, you can talk to someone about it. If you can't have a phone in your room, do you have a cellphone? That works just as well, so be sure to keep it with you if you think that might ever happen again. Going to the police sounds reasonable, but it really depends on what caused her to do this in the first place. Could you explain a bit better? If you did something really small, or you don't know what you did, then consulting an authority figure might be your best bet. But, if you and your mom just got in a HUGE fight, then it's quite possible that she overreacted and didn't know how to handle her anger, meaning that you may want to talk to someone (a friend, an adult you trust, etc.) about it, but not go so far as calling the police.

That definantly should not make her do that. Or anything. I suggest going to the police as they had said.

Hun, let me ask you this...are you too scared to go to the police for help? Have you *seriously* considered asking someone for help?
You don't deserve this...
