Same. You should ask her about it, politley. Don't say you saw needles and stuff- that could ruin your friendship, but if you are seriously worried just ask to make sure. Keep safe, Charlie XO

If your friend was taking heroin you would know. Trust me. There would be a change in her mood and the way she talks and looks. She could have to take medicine by injection like stars2mind said maybe. I think your best bet is to ask her. It's not a good idea to accuse her of being a 'junkie' if shes not. If she seems normal I highly doubt shes taking illegal drugs. Theres probably something you don't know about her like diabetes or something like that. I would ask her next time your with her and see marks or a sryinge what happened or what its for. Theres no other way to find out but, acussing her of being a drug addict may hurt her feelings if shes not.

Well dont just come out with it and say 'are you on heroin' because if shes not..she will be very hurt that you think that,or then again may laugh and wonder why you think that.
There could be allsorts of explainations to this, but maybe you should ask some light questions before just accusing her? Sit down with her, talk calmly and maybe mention the syringe you saw in her bag, then move on from there. Whatever the reason she had a syringe is,just show her your there for her,and she can tell you anything.

If she doesn't look like she's on heroin but has a needle, or syringe she could be diabetic. My friend at school is diabetic and has to carry a needle around with him to inject himself if his blood sugar levels go too high, so maybe that's why she had it.
If your going to approach your friend, don't rush in to ask if she is on heroin, ask her if she has any allergies or if she is diabetic or anything, then that may answer the question.
