Im back from vacation and I met this super cute guy down there on the first day. We hung out everyday and did lots of fun things together it was soo perfect. Now Im back at home and he's all the way on the other side of the world. Well not really but it sure feels that way. I'm in Cali and he is in the Caymen Islands. I feel 'lost' without him and I can't figure out if its just tons of lust or not. We have communicated since my return by a few e-mails but should I continue or stop it where it is?

I dont see why you shouldnt keep in contact with this guy. He seems a really nice and genuine lad,and is obviously into you

Even with the distance? I mean that is pretty far and Im scared if we develop feelings we will never see each other. I just don't know if its worth all the emotional pain of being so far apart.

I was in one.. and it didnt work out, I would keep in contact, but just be friends, and when you can meet and be closer together you should hook up

Alot of the time people say they don't work! I was in one with a guy and he only lived 4 hours away - We dated (living together) for one year before and when he moved back home to help his mom we broke up about 3-4 weeks later So I can't really tell you. Sounds like you had a fun time on your trip!

Um...well it's kinda tough. But I think that since ur not sure if it's just lust or not, that staying in touch with him would help sort it out. If you really like him and it's not just lust, then you'll probably be able to commit urself to emailing and talking to him. If it's just lust, u'll probably just forget about him as u go on with ur friends and meet other guys near u. But then again, u haven't known him that long and it might end up being more trouble than it's worth.

Well as for me my G/F lives 12 hours from me about and I get to see her every now and then. It's been over a year for us and still going it works pretty well. Plus we plan out times we can visit eachother. So really it's your decision and it's still too early to say my relationship will last forever but so far it's doing okay. But we are really attached so yea... But we talk to eachother everyday on the phone and computer. Maybe if you wanted try things out and see how they go and decide what you should do in the mean time.
