... well, if you were me. If you read the thread that I made before, Shattered Illusions, you know how much I hate this girl Sam. Well, she's not just a bitch (pardon the language, I'm really mad right now ) in real life, she's also one online, too. I used to have this Harry Potter RPG forum, you see. She was a member, and it was great because she was really active and everything. But then, when we stopped being friends, she comes on, claims that I deleted her account (which I didn't do until afterwards) and declares that the site is going to be dead without her. Whatever! Like I cared! I abandoned that site; she still thinks it was all thanks to her bitchy (again, sorry!) little rant, but I know that it was really because I gave up on that site. I used to come on with at least six new messages, all from her, whining about how much she wanted to be my friend, or freaking out at me because I refused to respond to her. I recently discovered that she copied all the ideas (or close enough) on my old site and went off and made her own. I wonder whether or not she's heard of *beep*ing (sorry!) originality! Geeze, it bugs me! But what do I do? Even if my site is dead, I didn't mean for all the stuff I worked hard for to be copied by some freak like her! Plus I can't really talk to her anymore... I've known about it for months, now, but I haven't bothered to do anything about it until I discovered her on PB Support, revisited the site, and got mad again. I feel like I can't just sit and let it happen...

Really? *gets excited*
But I have to ask...she didn't steal graphics. All she stole was writing, and some ideas that I had. Plus, I was stupid enough not to put a copyright on my site, figuring that nobody would bother to steal anyway (I've learned from that, believe me!). So...is it still punishable? And if so...how do I report?

The person who stole things off this board did not exactally steal 'images' but stole all ideas for everything. Just have your link and her link and either PM a Gmod on support or post in the support board. You can see our copyright in the rules & guidelines it's always a good idea to add that to your board because some people don't have a mind of their own and feel the need to use others imaginations as there own so they can feel better about being so handicapped in the imagination department. Wow that was a little rant.

OK, thanks. Just one more question... Either post in the support board or PM a Gmod...hmm... Well, it's just... I'm afraid that if I post in the Support board, she might see and come on and freak out at me or whatever...I really don't want her to know that I know. It's just...she knows me in real life. I'm afraid that she would...you know...try to hurt me or something. After all, it wouldn't be the first time... Even though we're not friends anymore, I encountered her on the way to school the other day. *shivers* But then again...would a Gmod get mad at me if I PMed them? I don't want to be a pain, otherise my board might get deleted (sorry, that's me being paranoid...I'm sure they'd never do that just because they didn't like me...) ... So this is kind of a stupid, wimpy little question, but what would you recommend? Posting in the Support board or PMing a Gmod? And do you know which Gmod in particular I should contact if you think that would be the most effective way?

This happened with me too but I just let things going and erased that girl from my life. She even started to make new accounts and register then insult me on the boards but what I did is ban her IP's.
I will tell you to PM all the Administrators on Proboars.com and the global mods. ALL those you think are ones of the older staff on Proboards. so you can get the help you need.
All Seeing Eyes Ross Enchant
Go for those!!

Thanks for your advice! Here's what I did...
I went to PM a mod, but then thought twice about it, afraid of being a pain. So, I went to post on the Support Forum, praying she wouldn't see it (and so far she hasn't), but refused to distribute board URLs or anything of the sort.
Someone suggested I join her board and ask her to remove her material. At first I was afraid to do this, but finally I sucked it up and bit the bullet. I PMed her, and thankfully, she replied co-operatively without blocking my IP or anything of the sort. Unfortunately, she claimed not to have stolen anything (which makes no sense, seeing as it's WORD FOR WORD off of my site). I told her this, added that the posts on my site were made at an earlier date, and I'm waiting for a response.
If she still doesn't remove the material, I'm going to submit a TOS violation, and hopefully, her board will be deleted. *sighs* Now the issue is that I'm making a new fourm and I really want to use the old stuff on it... *paces back and forth nervously* I wonder when I'll hear back...
I just thought I'd give you my progress. Does anyone have any further advice or comments/suggestions for future reference?

Thanks for the suggestion, Beautiful Disaster. Here's what happened...I'm no longer feeling confident about this. She replied again, and in the end, she banned my IP. Stupid, I think. I went and made a TOS Violation, and meanwhile, she went onto PB Support, saw my post, and made her own little dramatic rant. She said I was breaking the law because the police officer recommended that we make no further contact and I had gone against his words. o.o; It was this stupid little thing, she said she was being falsely accused and blah, blah, blah... Anyway, she freaked out and... I'm afraid now! What if my board gets deleted because she posted all her crap? What a bitch! What am I supposed to do now? I suppose all I can do is wait, but she said that she was falsely accused and asked if there was some way that her board wouldn't be deleted because she, apparently, didn't steal anything. *sighs heavily* Stupid...stupid...STUPID SAM! What do I do now? What if they believe her? What if she removes everything she stole, just to make it look like she's innocent? What if she calls the principal of the school or something, just because I asked her to remove my material from her site? SHIT! Any advice, please?

I wouldn't worry about your principle. Seriously, What are they going to do about a tiny online feud? Check your Pm's

I got your PM and I replied to it... Maybe if you see her thread, you'll understand. Perhaps I am just being paranoid, but seriously. Her thread got an A:M/C! I don't know what they mean or anything, but I think they're for serious threads...serious support issues, whereas mine didn't get anything!

I read that thread. I think she was a little out of line with what she called you if I'm thinking about the right one. I just remeber the police being mentioned.

Its in the Support boards. Most likely on page 1 or 2. I just saw it, labeled A:M/C False Acusations.

Everyone's going to know it's me if they see my thread and her thread... Alright, I'll PM you the link. I don't want people seeing, though.

((Sorry for the double post, but...)) OK, now I'm afraid. It's been over 24 hours, and they say they will contact you within 24 hours. Does that mean they're not going to do anything about it? *feels upset* It really would have helped...I mean, if you just look at her board...she took so much...
