Break-ups suck, and of course you don't want to lose her. However, that is the consequence of an addiction. You can go over the edge like you said, OR get rid of your addiction (no guarantees), and move on.

I think its okay for her to want to break up. its never easy to deal with a loved one who is addicted to drugs.

you dont have to be okay with it!!! if you really want her to stay- then work on your addiction...show her that you dont want her to leave!!! that way she wont if you dont want to give up your addiction- just let her go-although that wont be easy its your choice-just choose the one that makes you happy

The only thing you can do is tell her how much better you're doing with her and talk to her about it. When someone we're close through goes through an addiction it can be scary and maybe she just doesn't feel up to all that stress. Maybe you could suggest just taking a break? Is there anyone else that you could turn to..because if she's feeling that you're pressuring her or leaning on her too much then it might be a reason she wants to break up.

She might not want to compete with your addiction, because she doesn't think she can win - so she's chosen to leave.
Maybe you should think about what is more important to you:
1.) Your girl
OR
2.) Your habit
