A lot of boys, usually when they are young, are circumcised. Many people say this is not right, nor is it proper, while others say that it is the best thing to do for health reasons. In American culture, most male babies are circumcised, mainly because that is the way things have gone for a long time now. The belief is that having a foreskin is a major health issue. I guess they don't think guys will wash properly down there. What are your beliefs on circumcision? Are you circumcised? As for me, I'm circumcised, but if I had a choice in the matter, I'd have kept...that. ;D

It is true that some guys fail to wash 'down there'. I think its a very good idea for guy to get circumsized. Hopefully they are lucky and their parents did it when they were younger! lol. I looks better and its easier to clean for guys. I wouldn't really know because I am a girl but, I know it looks like it would be easier to clean.

I don't like the idea of circumcision, and I don't buy any of the things people say in support of it... it's not "hygienic" (just teach your son to use soap!) to me it's way less attractive, and the guy is much less sensitive if he's circumcised. The foreskin's not a useless piece of skin, it's really important.
I've only ever been with guys who still have their foreskin, and I don't really know what I'd do if I was with a guy without one! I mean, what do you to the penis? Not that I'd break up with a guy over it or anything -- after all, it's not his fault! -- but I'd personally prefer an "intact" guy.
Plus -- circumcision hurts! Babies scream, cry and go into shock sometimes. Why hurt a baby if it's not necessary?

Very good point biancasaur. I never thought about the going into shock nor did I know that could happen. If I had a child I certainly would not want them to go through that. I have changed my mind and I say no to circumcision.

Thanks GrapeJuice & moronic. I watched a show on TV (the show Bull$#!^ with penn and teller) and they did a special on circumcision which explained everything that was wrong with it, especially the fact that it's painful and scary for babies. It really made me think!
Obviously, there are groups who practice circumcision as a religious thing, and I'm not sure yet how I feel about that. I believe in religious freedom, but then again, there are people who practice female circumcision as a religious thing, but it's still outlawed in many countries.

Personally, I think circumsisation is bad. It's not hard to go in the bath/shower, pull back your foreskin and wash, so why bother putting a young baby or person through a painful operation.

One way is heathier, and so you should choose that. If you are from religious persuasion being circumcized is usually a must, although when Christ came to earth he aboloshed the law demanding us to be circumsized, as it was putting emphasis on an outward change while no inward change occurred.

well, I'm not circumcised, and I like it that way. I mean, I agree with all of you saying that it's not hard to wash down there. And I don't know how I would wack off without that skin.
