What type of sex education did you get in school, if any? Do you feel they focused on the right issues? Did you think anything important was left out?
As for me, I was lucky enough to get several "sex ed" classes throughout middle school and high school that explained a lot, especially how to have safer sex. We talked a lot about condom use and learned how to put them on bananas (heheh). But, I feel they focused a lot on preventing disease and waiting until you're 100% completely absolutely freakin' positively ready.... but didn't explain enough about the good aspects of sex or what it's really like to be sexually active.
Even so I consider myself lucky, because it seems that in many places (at least in the U.S.), young people are not getting the information they need...

I remeber walking out of the class with everyone laughing because it wasn't very educational. They never expanded on anything she pretty much just said "Use a condom its safe" Showed us a few pictures of the male and female anatomy, Named all the things and that was it. If was pointless if you ask me but what can you do.

I think the reason there's lots more teenage pregnancys is because sex ed is rubbish. Kids these days don't learn about it so they go out and teach themselves through experience.
I live in the UK, and at our (all girls) school, we didn't actually have sex ed.
We had a day out to St James park(football ground) to be told about drugs, and STI's. That was about it, no sex education as such.

In my school we needed sign things from our parents to be able to watch the presentation. My parents wouldn't let me so I never learned anything.

We had information on everything but our teachers seemed un-prepared. We watched to videos one was how to put a condom on the other was a girl giving birth which was gross. We put a condom on a bananna. Learned about female condoms, there wasn't much talk about STI's though.
