My boyfriend has crabs but if he wears a condom I can't get it right? Because they protect you from those things. Just want to double check thanks.

you can still get crabs even if he uses a condom. crabs are in the pubic hair and would just crawl right over to you. the condoms do not cover the pubic hair as well, which would still make you vulnerable to getting the crabs

Emo Kid is right. A condom will not protect you. Get your boyfriend to buy some treatments, such as creams, lotions, and shampoos which are used to eradicate louse infestation. Permethrin cream rinse is usually applied to the pubic area, the fold of the buttocks, and the entire groin area. Go to your GP to get this... and get a fine tip comb to comb the eggs and lice out after infection. With proper treatment, he will be cleared up after 1 week, but to confirm go and see your GP.

Or you could go to the beach and let them be released into a nice tide pool. j/k j/k......that wouldn't work. I agree with the other people. I would definately treat it first.

I think it stays on the skin if u could just shave to get rid of it why would therre be shampoos and stuff for it also I think the eggs stick around still and when they hatch you will just have it again.

I really wouldn't recommend sleeping with him at all. If he has crabs he's obviously not very safe when he has sex. Who knows what kind of STDs he ((or really any one for that matter)) has. I would get rid of the crabs, and then have him get tested for an STD if you really want to have sex with him.

Like annabobanna said, not everyone who has crabs is dirty or has unprotected sex regularly. Maybe he had sex with someone using a condom and believed that would protect him (like the original poster did).

True, but even so it's a really good idea to be tested for STDs before you have sex
