I see you guys using STD and STI but whats the difference?? Ive only herd of STDs. is there some diseases I dont know about or something called STIs?

STD = Sexually Transmitted Disease STI = Sexually Transmitted Illness

Many people say Sexually Transmitted *Infection* as opposed to *Disease*, probably because it takes a lot of the stigma out of it. Plus, not everything you can contract through sex is long-lasting or incurable, so it sounds more proper to me to cal it an "infection."

STD's are like a rapidly spreading plague...
I think infections can pass and be rid of with proper treatment (I still wouldnt want one) While a Disease such as Cancer or Diabetes have a smaller chance of recovery (my grampa has Diabetes)
But the STI you hear of might just be STD's and might all be the same thing... I personally havent heard STI used anywhere else, but im sure they exist
