Hey guys, I'm babysitting tomorrow! I have baby sat thees girls a couple time already but they are so full of energy and they wont play by them selfs YOU have to entertain them. I have done allot of crafts and games with them in the past and i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on what to do to make time "fly" .
Or any ideas of easy fun crafts or games would be great to.
((p.s. they are 8 and 9 years old!))

When I used to babysit my cousins we would do things by the weather, if it was nice out we would make lunch and stuff and go on the tampoline and run around or go to the schools park. We would play card games that they loved to play. I think they kept me up playing all night once. We made instruments with things in the house, (it does get loud tho) Umm I dont know what else we just did silly things like painting each others faces' etc.

Maybe watch some movies, play card/board games, and maybe you could bake cookies or make a cake ((make sure to ask for permission to use the oven first though, some people hate it when the babysitters use the oven w/o their permission))

Do you have paint? It depends how old they are as to what you do, but making butterflies where they one paint one side of the paper is fun, but make sure to use lots of newspaper. Baking cakes, cookies, (children like cup cakes more) and if they're girls use the tiny weeny cupcake holders you can get and pink food colouring! If they're boys green food colouring goes down well If it's sunny, chalk is amazing. Keeps them occupied for hours outside and no mess, it just washes off. They can even do it on the sidewalk if you have no garden and live on a quiet street. Goo dluck, hope these ideas are ok!

Thanks sparkle.
Ya baking stuff wouldn't work out because i am babysitting at my house and my mom is a neat freak so if i make even the smallest mess she will freak!
By the way they are to girls, one is 8 years old and one is 9..so its a little harder to do things with them cuz i cant just read them a book or put them to nap time

-Big booty-clapping game -slide-clapping game -concentration-clapping game -out the door-Write the names of different jobs on small pieces of paper (for example: chef, farmer, orchestra conductor, scientist, cab driver).
Fold the pieces of paper and drop them into a hat.
One player is the guesser and goes "out the door," leaving the room. Now, the other players choose one job from the hat.
The group calls the "guesser" back into the room. Without talking, the group acts out their job and the "guesser" has to figure out who they are.
-mirror-One person leaves the room then the other 2 decide who is the leader the the person that left come in and watches the other to move there hands synchronized and has to figure out who is the leader. If she guess correct the leader leaves the room if she is incorrect she goes again.
