Ive always used a pink venus razor when removing the hair off my legs and underarms etc But now thats taken its toll cos ive had it quite a while, ive thought about trying Veet creams/lotions to remove the hair instead.
Ive seen adverts, and it looks really good, and so simple and easy! I was just wondering if anyone had tried Veet creams to remove unwanted hair..or even any type of hair removal using creams/foams/lotions etc without waxing or shaving. I want to know if its any good before i buy it.

I've never used Veet but I've used Nair and it smells gross. It didn't work very well either.

I used veet a few times. It always missed spots and I got tierd of waiting for it to take 'effect' so I could wipe it off and dont do it in the shower or bath because the water washes it off right away. You see in the commercials theres like no water touching them but they are in the shower the water runs down your body and wipes it off.

Is it good though? does it do what it says? and makes your legs silky smooth? is it better then shaving/waxing?

my mum used it and she has really sensitive skin - she got a rash from it. I havent tried it myself but make sure you do a test patch incase you react to it.

I like it. It's really easy to use, and although it doesn't last long, it's still safer than shaving or waxing.

Ok i tried it.
The first application didnt take all the hairs away, but i guess cos im new to using just a cream,i will get better with practice. While it was on,it didnt half tickle me though a few times! I just wanted to itch my legs so bad. But its made my legs really smooth and shiny ;D I will definately keep using it.

It says on the pack huge warnings like 'Do not use on face, etc etc etc.' You could have a look sewe if there's any thing specifically for Faces, but I wouldn't use general stuff.
