I was reading somewhere that you aren't suppose to use body wash? because the soap runs down your body in the shower and gets trapped in the vuvla and you get some weird bacterial infection that makes you smell like fish. I'm confused on how you are suppose to wash then?

Bacterial vaginosis? and the vagina is naturally cleaning you should have to wash it. As for soap running down, never herd of that but I never had a problem and I always shower with body wash. =] Do you have a link to where you read this information? [/size][/b]

You're not going to get an infection every time you use a body wash. This may happen to some people with sensitive skin, because most body washes have chemicals in them that can be irritating to the vulva. I don't use body washes at all because they usually smell way too strong for me and they dry out my skin, but cleaning the vulva (the lips, not the vagina itself) with soap should be fine if you're not extra sensitive.
