I wash my face A LOT! When I am at school I bring powder so when my face gets all oily I can cover it up. The only problem is that when I put the powder on it makes most of my skin dark because my face is so oily. I use clean and clear oil-free moisturizer and it makes me feel really clean but an hour later my face will be really oily and not clean. I never touch my face and i have no pimples just my face is always shiny and i when ever i get a chance i wash my face with just soap or noxema but please give me some advize because nothing is working for me!! Thanks, Kaitlyn

This is posted in the wrong area but thats okay! Believe it or not, all that face-washing is probably causing your problem to get worse and worse! You should NEVER wash your face more than twice a day - once in the morning, and once at night. If you wash more, the oil glands in your face feel like they're getting too dry, and they pump out lots of extra oils to rehydrate your skin. Then you get over-oily, and that leads to more breakouts. Layering makeup on top of oily skin is also a no-no, because it looks weird (as you know) and cause create nasty clogged pores and pimples. Follow my advice for better skin... If your skin is naturally oily, you don't need to be using moisturizer. Wash your face in the morning with a cleanser formulated especially for oily or acne-prone skin (lots of brands are available at drug stores). After washing your face, try using an astringent to penetrate into pores and help prevent new breakouts (Clearisil makes good astrigents). If you like to wear makeup, dab on some translucent powder for coverage and to keep oils under control. Just don't keep applying it throughout the day as an oil stopper - that's not what it's meant for. Carry medicated facial wipes (Biore facial wipes are good and fairly inexpensive) with you in your purse, so you can clean up shine throughout the day when needed - just duck into a restroom to use the mirror. Be aware that you should keep your hands away from your face as much as possible. Your fingers are loaded with oil, dirt and bacteria that can aggravate oily pores. Drink 8 to 10 large glasses of cold water every single day. Water helps the body flush out toxins and can make your skin look and behave better. Exercise will increase your blood circulation and bring more oxygen to your skin, which is good for preventing pimples that form when oilyness clogs your pores. Try to get at least half an hour of exercise a day - even if that's dancing around your bedroom. At night, cleanse your face thoroughly. Once a week, do a facial mask made for oily skin.

Yeah.. agree with that. Especially water, drink lots, it makes you feel and look better, and also facial masks are AMAZING. Get some ready made ones from shops, or if you can't afford them make your own out of yoghurt. There are some amazing recipes on the internet! hope it goes OK, Keep safe
