Um, well I thought that you got rid of muscle by not using it...like if you worked out a lot to get muscle, just stop lifting weights or whatever you've been doing? But still keep eating healthy so that you don't gain any weight. I don't know how long it takes to lose muscle.

Dear Familyguy:
Do you want to lose muscle, because it weighs more then fat? Or is there another reason?
Personally, I would take muscle over fat anyday, because when you lose muscle it is replaced by fat - and even though you may weigh less, you are more likely to be unhealthy and over the BMI measurements.
To answer your question, there are many ways to lose muscle: but I'm not gonna tell you, because all of which are wrong to do to your body. Your body needs muscles to move, and stay healthy- what makes you want to do such a destructive thing to it? Sorry if I sound harsh, but can you imagine what life would be like without muscles?!!

If you got them from weight lifting I think I can understand why. Just try to stop weight lifting if that is how you got all your muscles and try running, pushups, situps, and jumping jacks. This should return your muscles to norm and strengthem them in a differnt way without them getting super huge.
